Basically, ZEMOS is a big core facility for shared use. This includes instruments, labs and offices. Rooms can be assigned temporarily to specific groups on application to the ZEMOS Board. There are user fees for instruments. 

Why Core Facilities and instruments for shared use?

Our Core Facilities and instruments offer a modern research infrastructure equipped with high-end large scale scientific instruments together with technical and scientific support - an environment that a single working group hardly can afford. The Core Facilities and instruments are available on application to all working groups for measurements and research projects in the area Solvation Science. 

How to enter?

If you want to start a new project or measurements using instruments and/or Core Facilities in ZEMOS please contact the responsible Laboratory Manager or the General Manager. We will discuss your aims and needs in a first meeting and explain the procedures of ZEMOS in detail. The use of our scientific instruments is easily organized. If you need lab and/or office working places an informal application to the ZEMOS Board has to be submitted via the Genaral Manager or the ZEMOS Office.
